So why did I start blogging?

Never give up on what you really want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than the one with all the facts. -Albert Einstein

The idea of blogging (again) started when I had a glance on my Instagram account on a one fine normal day. Life in squares, round-the-clock stories, memorable photos and carefully-thought contents. Then I remember starting a blog back in college which was my creative outlet to express in writing what I cannot in speaking. I checked my old blog and I thought, “Did I write those things?”, I couldn’t even remember the emotions involved and I thought that was a different me. At one point, I was so embarassed with my choice of words but on the other hand, I am so glad I wrote those blog posts which made me realize how much I’ve grown since then, and how my decision-making has changed significantly.

Those circumstances rekindled my passion to start blogging again. I thought, apart from doing Crossfit, it’s been a while since I embarked on something new. As I started planning, I began to envision myself being on the same spot 10 years later with a smile on my face remembering my travel experiences, fashion choices and random ideas about anything that comes to mind! How exciting I thought. Coupled with my good friends, family and a supportive husband who believes in me and what I’m able to do, I finally decided to launch this blog. Believe it or not, there were a lot of brainstorming and idea gathering before I finally take on this journey!

As Albert Einstein said, “Never give up on what you really want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than the one with all the facts”. Now it’s time to launch that dream to a great start!

So now let’s dive into my top 3 reasons why I finally decided to start blogging again:

1. I want to document my travel experiences

The rise of cheaper flight options and various choices of accommodation made travelling in our today’s generation much easier than before. While I’m one of those who takes advantage of that, I don’t want to merely just tick off an item from the list of places I’d like to go. I want to be in the moment, appreciate the culture and discover lots of new things but most importantly, I want to keep the memories fresh. I see writing as a powerful tool in bringing back the good memories, and not only that! Who knows? It may also be a platform to hear from other people’s experiences!

2. I want to share my choices and witness how it develops over time

There are past choices we are proud of and there are some which we couldn’t believe we chose! Ladies, you would know better what I’m talking about! Remember that outfit X years ago that you were asking your mom to get you? X years later you’re like – what the hell was that! This is where #TBT and #FBF gets a hilarious or “wow” contents!

My “Fashion” category will include posts about my newly discovered brands, favorite shops, OOTDs, review of my purchases or even my dream purchases!

3. I want to help people by sharing my random thoughts and experiences

On all my travels, blog sites is my best friend. I read reviews, check out itinerary suggestions, and get some inspirations. I thought entering to that community will help travel planners to iron out their itineraries.

Not only on travels, but I also want to write relatable stories and random reflections. It may be that simple bus ride that would teach me something, or a point of view from current events. Anything under the sun! I would like, as much as I can to use blogging as a platform to inspire people that everything starts with just a simple idea, how to grow or on the other hand, drop those thoughts.

THANKS FOR READING THIS FAR! ๐Ÿ™‚

All of us have reasons why we do what we do, and if at some point you struggle to find joy in what you do, go back to your why. There’s no harm in making a restart. After all, it’s much better than continuing with the wrong or misinterpreted reasons. Would you agree?
